Narth can you take your board and the CPU in to the place you bought them from. I think that they need to swap out one or both. It is very strange that you do not get the IGP stuff mate.

Even if you F5 or clear your CMOS nothing? That is odd. it is like your CPU does not have it.

Actually I have a couple of 2550K CPU's that do not have the IGP enabled.

I would really like to know if any other user with the same setup as me can see the IGPU and core multiplicator in the BIOS. Just so I know if its not a Bios problem.

    Unhappy

    Hey guys,

I have almost the exact same issues. I recently bought the SBz77 and 3570k. At first POST and BIOS setup everything was running great. Only after I used the OC Tuner did I experience huge BIOS failure. Just like the OP and others, the iGPU and CPU ratio options just disappeared. I also experienced a loss of RAM. I have 16GB 4x4 G.skill 2133 Sniper, all DIMM slots work, all sticks work, but BIOS only wants to say I have 8GB of 1600 RAM. Even when I have all 4 sticks installed, the SPD info under Tools in BIOS reads DIMM_A1, DIMM_A2, DIMM_B1, DIMM_B2, and reads the correct 4GB installed, but summary of RAM says 8GB...

Also like the OP, on the Ai Overclock Tuner, it says "Manual: When Manual is enabled CPU Ratio and BCLK frequency will AUTOMATICALLY be optimized."

It didn't say that before I ran OC Tuner. I flashed BIOS with 0801, 0906, and 1015 with no changes. Cleared CMOS no change. RMA'd i5-3570k for a replacement, no change. Now I'm RMA'ing the board and hopefully that will fix these issues.

Honestly I don't understand the lack of support from ASUS on this issue, I contacted their Level 1support over the phone multiple times and clearly explained the issue(s). All they said was "Clear CMOS and flash BIOS, otherwise apply for RMA from vendor. Or wait until Monday morning to be able to contact Level 2." Well sorry, I work Monday-Friday when the Level 2 are available and can't exactly take a personal day just to not have the issue solved. In my opinion it can't just be the BIOS that are responsible for this, based on the fact that, on first POST the system says "New Hardware detected, enter SETUP" but after clearing CMOS and Flashing BIOS there is not message like this, so there must be ANOTHER on-board I/O controller that remembers hardware information. Having a way to reset the board to 100% fresh factory settings would probably be the best way to go.

For the OP and other users with this same issue(s). Did you run OC Tuner? I have a nagging suspicion that the culprit lies in there.

I did try the OC tuner in all the things I tryed. But it was already doing all the things I posted. It's not like anything triggered. It was there on first boot. Maybe it could still be related to some hardware weakness as this issue seems to happen a lot. When I went back to get an other board in exchange from the main office of where I bought the board they said they are having lot of problems with the z77. I tryed all tech support level, they can't do a thing its a hardware failure. I had to go trought 3 board (Maybe I had really bad luck). Last one I got everything went smooth.
