    New folding hardware coming soon!

I'm down two bigadv folders all of my gpu's for now. I'll be parting them all out soon.

The great news is I have a i7 970 arriving this week and ASUS P6X58D Premium that had arrived last week. I'm planning on testing it vs my i7 2600k. My goal is to do a clock for clock (4.5GHz) test/showdown. During testing I'll be folding for Asus. I need to re-coop a spot on the list.

    More later...

I didn't win 980x so I had to buy the next best 6 core option. Just to say I've been there and done that. I doubt I can get to 4.5GHz OC on air with the 970 but hoping that the extra cores will make up the difference. I will also do a power comparison in terms of KWh.

What is sad is that the refresh intel does to the 2600k is so effective compared to the 1366/1156 CPU that even 4 core are more effective than 6. These 1155 are beast. I think I'm in love

Btw everyone, Many sources says that the i7 2600k allready outperforms the 980x in gaming and applications if im correct too as well as folding, so either 999$ or 330$ (330$ is better then 999$ on top of that the 2600K>980x from sources) you choose. These 4 cores out perform and i wish i had all my extras so I could buy my comp allready. :*(

WTB donated psu, haf x case, ram, cd drive.

Clock for clock 2600k (3.4) does not beat the 980x (3.3). When OC'd to 5.1GHz vs stock 980x, 2600k only out performs it by 10%. With being said you can't make a statement it out performs.

Is it the best bang for the buck vs performance...you bet. But to say it out performs is a incorrect statement.

BTW, sources say 2500k beats 2600k in gaming benchmarks....go take a look.
