"another thing i heard that the heavier the psu is the better it is is that true?" - it depends from what you intend to use it... If you want to research how deeply a PSU inserts into the soil after dropping it from different hight, then yes, a heavier one should be your choice. But for general use (that for powering pcs), other parameters are more important. One exception: if you intend to carry your system (lan parties for example) a lot, you may want to go with lighter ones - but even that, the other parameters (as quality, reliability, efficiency) should be your primary focus.

I've checked the reviews about the Antec HCG 750W (http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/artic...-Review/1141/1) and the XFX ProSeries 750W (http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/artic...-Review/1182/1). I linked here the reviews form Hardware Secrets since they did both of these PSUs.

You know what, FR3D1? Based on my readings, I would go with the XFX ProSeries 750W! My first argument near this one is that it is manufactured by Seasonic (the Ante one is a Delta Electronics build). The XFX is a single rail PSU - as you could see in other threads, that is preferable (http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...untry=&status=). The XFX's has more VGA cables and also has slightly higher efficiency.

If the price of the XFX is also lower than that of Antec's - I think, there is no doubt remained which one to choose...

LOL... hard to decide... but it's hard to give an opinion on a PSU which wasn't even released...

Sorry to hear that, just be sure to buy something that is at least 80 PLUS Gold Certified and is also Energy Star Certified for best power efficiency and consumption.
