    here is everything it says.

    STOP: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800D9E8B30, 0xFFFFFA800D9E8E10, 0xFFFFF80005B78E10)

    ..

so i decided to not run the ram dual channel and i'm not sure but starcraft 2 install has yet to mess up. normally it would freeze up at about 3% now its gone to 61%... may just be luck.

another question i had is this PSU good enough... Antec HCG-900

using stock hsf and max temp i've noticed is 105f... currently its idling around 80-95f

other then that i... i dont know what the hell is going on. just makes no sense

Out of interest your hard drive is attached to which sata port again? That error code screams hard drive to me.

so after i switched the ram to non dual channel i also decided to remove all the sata ports except for the ssd which i put in the 3rd port thinking maybe it was a bad connection on the first 2 to the mb. finished installing sc2 and just did a hour long mission in campaign to see if running under a load would be a issue (ultra settings). still has yet to bsod on me. i hope its fixed?! haha

Yeah that makes so much sense to me. Please keep your SSD in that port now.

so my next thoughts are bad ram.. i got the sticks ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231568 ) just once set (16gb total). it really seems like its crashing during decent web usage.

    edit

which would explain why it crashed during sc2 install... but why would it work in single channel? maybe it cleared something for the time being and then went back to its failing ways? i'm about to head off to work and i'm just going to leave it in memtest to see... that would tell me if its the ram right?

if theres error in the ram you will get errors on memtest.

Mem test is a good way to start if the ram is defective.

To me, yes its RAM, and i believe somehow those sticks are incompatible with that board.
Im running 4 Sticks, 4GB each stick (total 16GB), Mushkin Redline. Its clocked at 1866 and I did that without a BSOD on the new bios. Could be the RipJAws is impeding a load on the cpu too... 8GB per stick is fairly large, not sure if that could be factor.
I've never had issues with Mushkin Ram. I run that stuff everywhere and so does my brother and his friend.

Sometimes theres an odd set that will not work with the mobo. Try running a different brand of DDR 3 and see how that works.
If It checks out, then I'd return that ram in a heart beat.

Pick up 4 sticks of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226302
Set your timings and clocks, and enjoy. =)

(also, i chose Redline cause the ROG board is red and black. Thought it looked good, and DAMN it looks good.)
