Yeah on my mini-pci-e riser board there are 2 lights, one for BT, one for Wifi if I'm correct. All I did was swap out the broadcom for the Intel and the light function remained the same. You have a Gene I take it? Someone with experience may want to post here with the differences.
*Also, if you are using the riser card which seems to be the case and correct, are you installing the card to the correct side? It should be up towards the CPU power connectors at the "top" of the board.
