gene z gen 3 bios flash

Hi there i have a asus gene z gen 3 motherboard.
i have a i7 3770k cpu and want to update the bios.
from looking the latest bios is 3305.
im wanting to overclock the cpu is this the best bios.
and do i have to use a sandy bridge cpu or ivy bridge cpu to flash the bios.
computer is not built up yet but any advice will be great thx in response.

Will i be able to update with my ivy bridge cpu installed the i7 3770k, its using bios 402 at the monent.

The latest for the MAXIMUS V GENE BIOS is version 0813.

And yes you will be able to use the 3770K.
