I just pulled my ram and noticed that the latency written on it isn't what the latency was set too in bios, even tho everything was set to auto, not sure if this makes a diference, but want to give all info to the masses to ensure all options/problems can be exposed... about to reset cmos, and try again... good luck to me... lol

Auto is just "safe" usage to ensure everything works fine without a hitch. Once you get everything going, then you can go back into your BIOS and input the correct timings to get the most out of your RAM.....have fun with the reset lol

Hello mate, the gentleman who suggested that BIOS 00018 is part of the ASUS ROG development team and works with the BIOS engineers. Give it a try

Not to worry about the BIOS, we can sort that out later. And joining the partitions is pretty simple. Good luck with the install! when you get everything going, then we can concentrate on sorting out the minor details and get you going full swing
