    Okay so next step is:

Right click on battery icon (near the clock) and go to power options, then select your current power plan and click on change plan settings. Next, click on advanced power settings, scroll down and go to processor power management. Then go to maximum processor state and change both to 99% (battery and plug, instead of 100%).

Try this with nvidia inspector (applied to diablo 3) and the latest driver that i linked above. Set your ingame settings normally, like 1920x1080 resolution, shadows on medium/low and turn on vsync.

80 degrees isnt that hot in a laptop, so i wont believe thats an temperature problem. I´ve been playing during all day and still no freezes here. My temperatures are near 75 - 80 degrees.

You must install the driver that i listed, with nvidia inspector and changing power settings. Test!

Something I've noticed with Diablo 3, is that if you have Vertical Sync turned on, it limits the FPS to about 30, but if it's off it caps at 60 FPS. But for me, aside from server issues, I've had no issues at all running on my computer at max settings

    evandroo!

It got alot better with the power change but didn't solved 100% the problem.
Now the computer freezes only half of the times that I try to play.
Is there something else that I could try?

I have tried diminish the percentage until 80% and still freezing. Seams that the problem is with the geforce 460m , but I didnt find any solution for it yet.

If anyone have some oder ideia please let me know.

Thank you very much for the help evandroo
