    maximus extreme memory question

    just bought some new corsair dominator gt ram that can use or supports xmp...how do i change this in my bios for the ram to configure the settings automaticaly

    Reset Bios F5 to load defaults, F10 to save. Back into Bios Ai Overclock Tuner change to XMP. F10 to save. Once restarted XMP should be set. I would then make sure the correct voltages for your RAM are set so voltage to either 1.5v or 1.65. If they are not, set these save and your good to go.

    It is a real good idea to download memtest (Ver 4.2 USB version is great) and test your memory before you even post to OS. Saves a whole heap of problems later in the process.
