Rampage IV Extreme - Blu Screen in Safe Mode with driver intel 3.1.0.1085

Stumble this problem with two Vertex 3 60Gb and two Vertex 4 128GB in Raid. They both have the same problem with intel driver 3. 1. 0. 1085. Every time I try to log in safe mode blue screen or freeze. E1 error.

The firmware of the disks are respectively 2.22 for Vertex 3 and 1.4 for Vertex 4. I reported the problem to ocz and it seems that they have failed to replicate the problem.

I have done all possible tests, I disconnected all peripherals, tried with only one bank of ram, nothing. With these drivers always BSOD.

With the 3.0 drivers do not have this problem.

What do you think? it may be a conflict between orom 3.0 and 3.1 drivers? I have no other explanation.

I also tried to remove the raid, and tests with a single and had no problems, and I think I know why. In raids in safe mode, windows, necessarily has to load the intel driver, since otherwise the system would not work, while single disc loads the ahci driver to Windows, and despite having installed the 3.1 drivers are not loaded.

Yeah! basically Intel make grat chips but nothing else. Drivers are rubbish so far. And yes may be a outdated orom / driver issue though hard to say with everything else thats wrong with this series of drivers.

I hope asus pull their finger out and get incorporating the latest orom etc soon!
