Maximus Gene-z and Asus GTX 680 Direct CU II Top

Hello, i recently bought a maximus gene z mobo and ordered a direct cu ii 680 but here is my problem, since i use noctua d14 cpu cooler i cant use the first pci slot , using the second slot now but my old card is a 5830 and its not that big but still at the limit of case connections to the mobo(pwr sw etc) and direct cu ii 680 is larger due to 2 heatsinks but as from my inspectetions on the net i noticed theres a little space between the bottom of the card and heatsinks and its bigger than other standard cards, so any of u guys have experienced these 2 hardware before? will there be any problems on the second slot ?

    ps:sorry for my english

What case is this going into? With the CU II you have to worry about not only covering the connectors but extending beyond the bottom of the board. If the case meets the edge of the board you will not have room.
