Asus Maximus V Gene does not recognize video card

I have a little problem here. I have the motherboard Maximus V Gene and Asus GTX 670 DirectCU II But the VGA is not being recognized by the motherboard. I've tried everything! I updated the BIOS, I changed the vga slot (the first recognized in the second slot, but as 8x) Then I switched to the first slot and not recognized but now does not recognize the second slot too.

Ok, i will try!!
I had tested only in Auto and Gen3

I noticed when i boot the computer, the screen shows 'Using PCIE Gen2'

Is it working ok now then mate??? Your not loosing out on anything as the current Nvidia Driver only supports gen 2 anyway. I am sure a future Bios update will look at teh PCI EX codes for these new cards and tune them accordingly.

I have not tested yet....
I'll make it a trip and will be home only Monday!

Then on Monday I update if it worked or not
