Laptop Freezes in normal windows but not in safe mode

I am having problems with my laptop. I am running the windows 7 platform. This just began happening 3 days ago. When I start up windows in normal operating mode I have no problems starting up and everything loads up fine. A few minutes later it just freezes up. If audio is on it just gives this constant buzz. The only way that it can be turned off is by manually holding down the power button until it kills the power. If I open in safe mode I have yet to have it lock up on me but I can not load games. It says somehting like 3d drivers not responsive. This could be though that all the video drivers are not active in safe mode. Any suggestions on what this could be? I am working in a remote location and want to play my games so any help is appreciated.

This is sometimes due to overheating. Take a look at Chastity's thread here: http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showthread.php?946-G73JH-GPU-Overheating-Observations-and-Suggestions-...
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

I would update your Realtek Audio drivers + Atheros LAN and WiFi.
