I was all set to have 3 monitors using eyefinity with 1 x DVI, 1 x HDMI and 1 x minip to DVI with adapter however i have read that you cant use the DVI and HDMI together therefore will have to get 2 minidp to DVI adapters (and use the DVI on card)

The card i have is the gigabyte HD7970 OC 3gb which has 2 minidps, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI

however i have read that people have used 1 x HDMI, 1 x DVI and 1 x minidp to DVI so i dont know?

The monitors are iiyama prolite E2473HDS that have 2 HDMI, 1 VGA and 1 DVI

I would use minidp to HDMI but on amds validated list of dongles they only have passive adapters whereas they have active DVI adapters
