    Confused 2 ATX power connectors

    Hello

I am confused i am building a new rig with a asus rampage extreme IV and a i7-3930K proseccor.

On my new board ther are on top 2 connectors for the Cpu voltage.

One with 4 pins and one with 8 pins.

On my previus board ther was only one on top.

Do i connect the 4 pin ore the 8 pin ore both the 8 and 4 pin.

I am a bit confused here Help

    Thks Ed

    Hey there!

Yeah, this is clear as mud in the manual. Basically they are on the same circuit or feed the same parts and you only need to connect both if you are blazing a trail in overclocking. However the CPU will draw as much power as it needs and no more so connecting them both is fine even if your not doing anything OCwise. So, connect the 8 pin (four pin optional).
