As most of the regular users are aware, our Forum Ranking system recently got an upgrade. So I thought I would do a little introduction to them and what they mean, for the members who don't know what they are.
If you are a new user to the Vbulletin Forum structure, or you are just completely new to using Forums in their entirety then this info will help you to understand the wording you see under different member's names.
Q: What is a Forum Rank?
A: A Forum Rank is a stucture used within any Forum Community, that identifies members by their post count.
Q: Their post count?
A: Yep, their post count. The more posts a user makes the further they get themselves into the whole Ranking Structure.
Q: Why are ranks based on colors of belts?
A: I cannot answer for the powers-that-be, maybe one of them can answer for me...but, they are based on the Skill and Technical Expertise that is associated with Martial Arts practitioners...and have a post count needed to match to climb the Ranks.
Q: Ok, so do these Ranks mean anything?
A: In a way, not really no...other than proving you have made a lot of posts to make any of the ranks - but, having said that...there is a sense of pride felt when you attain each new Ranking.
Q: What are the current Forums Ranks and how many posts are needed to meet each one?
