LOL Evil Scientist? nah, more like Mad Scientist mate will go have a look at the thread.

Though, now after all the problems i've gone through with this rig recently, I've decided i'm now gonna start another project and build my own test bench. Dunno if you remember the perspex cases that were "fashion" back in the early 00's made by "Modware" anyways I have one of those cases, so im gonna destroy it to build me a test bench lol

Update 4: Took my card to the local shop and they tested it, came back with a "it's running perfectly" so I get Home amd think "well, maybe one of the PCIe power cables is dead...uhh NO...problem: THE DAMN THING WAS SLIGHTLY DISCONNECTED AT MY PSU!!! wow did I feel like THE biggest dunce in the world lmfao

Soooo woot woot, I have a working Rig once more!!! time to uninstall the onboard sound drivers, reboot and install my shiny new still-in-the-box Xonar Phoebus and write up a user review on it

Huge thanks to HiVizMan, DC and Mummy for their tips, suggestions and the recommendation for where to get the new BIOS chip +1 to you 3

@Mummy: lol it's not a matter that I forgot to connect the power cable, it's the fact that the damned thing somehow got slightly disconnected...probably my doing

@DC: yeah I know mate...I coulda swore I had checked them a billion times while I waited for my BIOS Chip to come in...but turns out, what I was actually checking was the power for my HDD, Optical and SSD :/ lmfao

with a tv on it.. i sat on the corner of the bed, pushing the remote power (i could have reached it with my hand)
she came in and saw the TV wasnt plugged in ... she has bust'd my ROGs for 20yrs over that.
