Explosive Thoughts!!!!!

I just got ahold of a CHVF/T yesterday...Details on that coming later when the NDA lifts, but to my surprise this is a very DURABLE Board. it's been through 2 PSU Explosions, and a couple other STUPID mishaps and it's still running PERFECTLY! I'm really Impressed that Asus made a board so Durable when with others if the PSU exploded like the second one did the Board would have been TOASTED nice and Golden Brown.

As I type here you'd be Shocked as to how this thing is even working but lets start with the basics as of right now.

Asus ROG Crosshair V Thunderbolt Edition.
AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black (From my CHIVF).
Patriot Signature Series 2x4gig Totaling 8 gigs (also from my CHIVF).
Seagate 1.5t HD (Also from my CHIVF).
LG DVD Burner SATA (Also from my CHIVF).
Arctic Freezer 64 Pro (the Old one that was 260watts TDP, Also from my CHIVF).
An Ancient Palet 8400gs+( the version that DID have SLI).
Now the Surprise!.... This is all running on the PSU from an old HP Slim Tower...It's a MASSIVE 200watts!....

Thank all, Next step is finished...I pulled out a SATA HD from an old 60gig XBox Addon Drive and Installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 fresh so that I could prove that Upgrading from a CHIVF to the CHV Thunderbolt required a Fresh Copy of the OS...Well Guess what? It Does...AISuitII wouldn't install for love nor money until I got a fresh OS installed. and yes the Motherboard NIC is still working Perfectly. Now to rebuild a PSU so that I can test the Thunderbolt Card...

Just for Sh*ts and Giggles here's two more Picks with the XBox HD in the Bottom and Proof there's no other PSU other than the HP Slim 200 Watt.....Talk about barely Running!But it's stable as hell like this....and yes the CPU is still OC'd but only to 3.9ghz ATM.

I know it sucks but until I have the $60 for a new PSU I'm stuck with the sucks....but I can put my 1.5t HD back in line and look at the Pictures on it... Hopefully in two weeks....it will be fixed...IF I CAN LAST THAT LONG....! No Games, No Photoshop, No Triple Monitors....Could someone Please send me a Jar of Vaseline!
