Hey Pietrass, welcome to the ROG forum!

Indeed, the Matrix GTX580 is a very impressive card... and power hungry too...

Did you had an other graphic card in this built before the Matrix? Was the system working before?

My first idea is the PSU... Do you have the exact model of your PSU? Do you know the amperage on it's rail(s)? (I assume, you have connected all the power cables...)

Ps: You kinda missed the right section of this Forum, but I suppose one of our Moderators will move this thread in the right place - just mentioning it, to not get surprised...

How old is your PSU? It's not too efficient from start, but if it's working properly, it should power your system with the Matrix too... - if it's old, it may loose some juice causing troubles... So a 750W should be enough for this system, just get a better one - like a Corsair or Seasonic one, with higher efficiency. (if you're planning further updates, more VGAs, then get a bigger one)

On the other hand, what monitor do you have? How you're connecting it to the graphic card? (through which cable)

I change my PSU's every two to three years, and yes I mean plural. Even the best PSU there is will degrade over time. That is the nature of electronics and just natural process of atrophy. The matrix is a lovely card and it is also a beast when it comes to power usage, all 480/580 cards are. So protect your investment and think about getting a new PSU. 750 for single card is fine in my estimation based on the hardware you have listed.
