    Welcome to the ROG forum!

    Those components looks pretty nice... For preventing any possible issues in the future, you could double check if that particular memory kit is on the QVL... - or just provide the model number and we can check it for you...

    Go with 16 gig gskill maybe up the PSU to a 1000 wat part from that all sounds good. Just remember its your build your money.

    What I'm saying is its a good build but can be better

    Eg CPU mainly if clocking.

    i was going with 16GB but they told it overkill at the mintcraftforums

    Yeap, that good to go!

    Now, for gaming, the 8GB will be just fine... also, with a single graphic card, 850W is plenty... - however, if you're planning a second VGA for aSLI setup, then Dark is right, you should get a bigger PSU (the Corsair AX series are very good)

    Just keep in mind that Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit can handle max of 16GB of memory...

    so for two gtx 680s 1000watts is good right
