Same here, I've used to go for GIGAYBYTE boards and they always let me down. So I went with ASUS since and they are a great brand. Thank's for the video!. I still have the 680i sli for years from EVGA but the old motherboard's of ASUS that I use to have were great. Need to save up lot's this year to get the Maximus V!

I love my Maximus V GENE mainboard - it's full featured and value-priced.

Since I'm using my Alien Rig primary for gaming, I really need a big card and only need a processor that won't hold it back.

I'm actually moving to a lesser i5-3570K processor and upgrading the card to a MATRIX Radeon HD 7970 card to take advantage of 3rd Gen system features like LucidLogix Virtu MVP.

    Joachim,
A big case is not required for a mATX board, so a mid-tower will work just fine. I like the military green Corsair Vengeance C70 case.
