Red face can my G75vw handle 32Gb of RAM

hi there....can anyone shed a light on my issue w/c regards to upgrading my current config of G75VW....i work with DDC (ie. 3dsmax, AfterEffects and alike), and i would like to maximize its potential.....my concern is that will it be possible to throw in 16GB more of RAM on my current 16Gb configurations....can the notebook be able to read all 32Gb of RAM?

    thanks guys....

As long as you are running Windows 7 Ultimate, then yes. Windows 7 Home tops out at recognizing 16GB ram.

There are 4 ram slots in the laptop, 2 of which you can access without voiding the warranty. If you want 32gb you'd have to get 4x 8-gb sticks of ram and also void your laptop warranty.

Perfectly true, well-said, so +1 rep! If you can configure your laptop through one of the vendors, they will provide a warranty, even on the 32 GB of RAM...if you are willing to pay. Cheaper to do it yourself, but paying gets a warranty.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

You can take the laptop to any authorized ASUS re-seller and have them upgrade the RAM for you.

It doesn't have to be the place of purchase.
