ROG team wants to know: Gaming questions for G series users!

In our continuing effort to build better products and get to know you lot, we'd like some feedback from our G series users

    1) What type of games do you play on your G series?
    2) What is your preferred peripheral setup?

    Thanks everyone!

When I get reeeally sad about missing someone far away, I just take a deep cleansing breath, then switch to the rifle with a scope.

I've played SW:TOR and TF2 on my G73. There are others but I can't think of them now.
I pretty much have to use a mouse and headphones or I won't bother playing.

    1) Mainly Starcraft 2

    2)
    Mouse - Logitech G9
    Keyboard - HHKB Pro 2
    Headphoens - Logitech G930

The internal keyboard and touchpad are really terrible (my keyboard flexes a few millimetres, so obviously has no plate...). ASUS should consider selling without keyboard and touchpad since they really are useless. USB and other ports are not in the best placement, mouse has to be a bit further away than I would like.

@Mrwolf: You got in the the Planetside 2 beta? Not sure how you can judge an MMO on the beta alone....

@Gorman: Yea man, i got into the technical test, the beta isnt out for another couple of weeks lol yea i know i cant judge yet, but im a big planetside 1 fan and right now in its current state, i gotta say man planetside 2 makes battlefield 3 look like crap in terms of graphics and gameplay cant wait till the open beta is out so we have more people populating the servers..

    Games:
    - FPS, RTS, RPG. I have finished on G55 and G75 Battlefield 3 and Max Payne 3 for testing.

    Mouse:
    - a bunch o Logitech multimedia, not sure exactly what models.

    Another bunch of external HDDs.

I agree, on the right the USB placement is terrible. I had to put my laptop on something to be a little bit higher so I could use the mouse. Keyboard is just fine for me on both of them. If these flex, I guess others bend.
