I was wondering about the bass on this soundcard in respect to previous models. Currently I'm using a pair of Beyers DT990 600ohm which aren't exactly a pair of bassy headphones, but I've been able to get them to a comfortable bass level using the equilizer in my previous Xonar Essence ST card, as well as my brother's DX card. But even maximizing the 30hz and 60hz (32 and 64 on Dolby Home Theater V4) frequiencies in equilizer on the Phoebus makes almost null difference. Is this due to the OPAMPS or a limitation of the software that might be changed in the future?
