Maximus V Gene VGA Detection

Hi,
my maximus v gene fails to detect the gpu in the epu section of the ai suite provided by asus.

(note : my card runs in perfect condition for entire setup, but I was keen on knowing as to why the suite software fails to detect my gpu)


on clicking the vga button on top right corner

it says " no vga detected .please install vga or install smart doctor.the link provided does not contain my card series


my current specs:

cpu : intel i53570k
ram : gskill 1600 2x4gb
gpu : msi r7850 pwer edition 2gb OC
hdd : 2tb seagate barracuda 6gb/s 64mb cache
board : asus maximus v gene
psu : corsair 700 GS

Your kit works, that is all you need. If you want to overclock your card please use MSI afterburner it works really well especially for your card which is an MSI card. GPUz to see how your cards clocks are doing, plus the monitoring software that comes as part of AB is top notch.

Just had a look at mine and same thing as sandeep3010,, It's all good I don't have any troubles, Just wondering about your advice.. ( Heart felt advice - un install completely AIsuite. ) Can this software cause troubles or is there better monitoring SW about,, I really like to keep a eye on temps and fan speeds etc.. Nackers it is simple. Any application that tries to do all things for all people ultimately is too complex and to diluted to do any one thing particularly well. AISuite is a brilliant concept and like many great concepts the trick is getting it to work 100% all of the time. It does not.

AIDA64 is a great application - a paid for application sadly which is really good.

Or use HWmonitor which is a stand alone or install application, I use the install version myself that does the job real well. It is designed as a separate utility by the guys who bring us CPUz.
