    I would suggest that if you already have a gaming desktop, and can afford to wait a little. than wait as long as you can. Cause if you buy something and you end up seeing something else come out better and for the right price you well be mad at your self. Good luck on getting your laptop. As for me my old desktop 3 to 4 years ZT systems was dying and when I shut it off the fan didnt even turn off, lol, it also wouldnt connect to my Gateway monitor 24 in I think. So I deided to look a round and spend a little more money to get a computer that fits my needs and my cash. So I came up with the ASUS G75VW-BBK5. But I dont need it to be that portable. Anyways again good luck on getting and choosing your new laptop. Try to choose the latest and cheapest software.

    Nope . My question would be: why quad-core i7 in a 14" notebook? The alienware is really hot and loud because of it. The 14" ASUS notebooks are quiet with crazy battery life, because they run dual-core i5's+Optimus. They can take 16 GB of RAM (the new ones can), and the HDD's of course are replaceable. This might fit?
