    Rampage 4 Extreme won't boot.

    Hello,

I build my pc with these components:

    Rampage 4 Extreme
    Intel i7 3960x
    Antec Kuhler H20 620
2 Different kinds of DDR3 RAM
    AMD radeon HD5770
    OCZ Agility 3 SSD
    Western Digital 500 gig.

With my first boot I got the CPU fan error (which I think I know how to solve now because the motherboard shouldn't be managing the cpu as it is a water cooler.) At that time I didn't know how to fix it, after a few times I couldn't even get into the bios anymore. When I now startup the pc, my screen stays black. The digits are displaying 00 and the red CPU led is full on.

Does anyone know how I could fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

    That is not good.

Please do a clear CMOS. Remove all the power connectors from your computer, remove the socket from the wall. And take out the battery on the main board. Press the power button a few seconds to drain the charge out of the capacitors. Now press the clear CMOS button a few seconds. Leave your system for some hours.

I would check that your cooler is working at all.
Use only one stick of ram to boot after the clear CMOS.

Let me know how it goes please.

I'm pretty sure it's working but the mobo didn't seem to give it enough as the fan that's connected to the water pump was only spinning very slowly which also makes me believe that pump wasn't going fast enough. This can be solved by stopping the mobo from controlling it.

Why not we solve one at a time. Can just put one ram stick to the board at start the PC. Let stat wirh Kingston.

All this is pointless until such time as you do the full Clear CMOS.

How long should I leave the system? I'm going on holiday for 3 days tomorrow and would like to fix it before that.
