6950x2 (unlocked shaders) not working with 3xxx BIOS

I sent a support ticket to Asus and was wondering if anyone else is using the 6950 series video cards with the shaders unlocked has ran into issues with them working on earlier BIOS and not working on 2xxx or 3xxx series BIOS? I've seen a few posts here and there about some having the same issue and having to switch their cards back to default switch positions, which is what I had to do. Both of my cards have the shader unlocked BIOS only and worked great with 0902 and 1004, but now that I'm stuck on 3501 if I try to use them unlocked all I get greeted by on reboot is a lovely black screen. I've tried every way possible to downgrade both motherboard BIOS to earlier versions and none have worked. Maybe Asus can update a BIOS so my unlocked cards will work again?? A few of the posts said it's due to the hardware id's and Asus BIOS so would there be something I could change in either the cards BIOS or motherboards BIOS? My bench score's aren't taking a major hit going from the 1536 shaders to 1408 shaders but it's the fact they worked before and not now that bugs me. Why Asus why?? lol

ATI Control, MSI Afterburner are both set to 20%....my clocks are fine even at 900/1400 but I was hoping to be able to get back the shader unlock on the cards 2nd BIOS back and working. The unlocked shaders show up in gpuz in my fiancee's P8Z68 Deluxe Gen 3 but her BIOS (0301 I believe) haven't been updated since it was built but not my board with the 3501 BIOS
