Prodigy Projekt – A Watercooled, Overclocked Mini-ITX LAN Monster!

The Mini-ITX form factor has been around since the early 2000′s (thank you, VIA), but like a good A-Team episode, come 2012 it finally feels like the plan is coming together. Prodigy Project won’t help you quell the lust for a new, sexy little LAN machine, that’s for sure, so if you’re prone to outbursts of impulse spending I’d stop reading now.

    Still with me? Good!

Now take a look at this:

Constructed by Slovakian boutique PC builder, Tiché PC, this LAN monster features the following hardware:

    Here’s the spec run down:
ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe (Dear Mobo Team: Why no mini-ROG love?? I want to write about SFF more!),
    Intel Core i7-2600K
GeForce GTX 670 (gotta love that tiny PCB)
    16GB G.Skill RipjawsX 1,600MHz DDR3
    Crucial M4 128GB SSD
    Seasonic 460FL (fanless!)
    Bit Fenix Prodigy (mini-ITX chassis)

    Watercooling:
    Bitfenix Spectre Pro 200mm fan
    1 x 140 + 2 x 120 Corsair Fans
    HEATKILLER GPU-X3 GTX 670 waterblock
HEATKILLER Rev. 3.0 LT CPU waterblock
ALPHACOOL VPP655 Single / TOP Pump
    XSPC EX-240 Dual Fan Radiator
    Phobya Radiator 200mm
    EK Water Blocks EK-Multioption RES X2 – 150 Advanced
BitsPower / EK / Alphacool / Koolance Hose Fittings + Primochill bits
    Aquaero LT USB fan controller

    PSU Temperature

Nice Build! Doesn't the Fanless PSU heat up a lot caged in like that? I am considering a similar build and wanted to get the Seasonic Fanless PSU but since its caged in I am worried it wouldn't get enough air flow from the case fan.

    Ssd

Where's the SSD ? I don't find it anywhere on the picture.

Could be mounted on the closed side of case (under MB tray.)

    Sweet ... like a WhiteKnight. Cudos.c.

    Radiator

And what's about those 2 radiator ? Does only one would not be enough ?

I try to understand everything i'm planning to try a build like this one soon and i never build anything before.

Does 2 SSD instead of 1 could be possible ?

    Thx. Kevin

One 2x120 will probably be OK but I'm not sure where he put the SSDs
