I'm hoping that rather than having people cooking bios's, Asus will release an official bios that has what we need in it.
Read the User's Manual for more info.

very glad I stumbled onto this thread. I've currently got a G60JX but next week i'm ordering my G74SX-RH71, and I will be sure to keep my eye out for the throttling. I know it may not be much, but if it does happen to me I'll see what I can do to pester Asus as a customer to see if they'll ever do anything for it lol.

How did you create the logs in the first post? I would also like to check. You have several programs listed, but I was not sure which one created the logs.

    it works

    g53 sw
throttle stop made a big difference on BF3

running fairly high settings on 1080 with ssoa and AA high

getting 35-55 fps on Caspian border 64players (most demanding in my view)

was getting really low fps on low settings before i did that

    1hour gameplay
    Cpu max temp 86c
    Gpu max temp 85c

gpu overclocked using msi afterburner. 750/1500/1450 (stable)

    thanks!

just to make sure, in your original post you say just to load the exe and it should be fine. i noticed a "Turn On" button on the bottom right hand corner... we obviously have to click Turn On first right?

Load exe, click Turn On, click Save.

    That ok?
