Question on air flow

I have just a quick question on airflow. I have a coolermaster enforcer case with a corsair H60 push pull config, i am using the 120mm exhaust fan that came with the case as pull and the 120mm that came with the H60 as push.My question is if i turn the 200mm exhaust that i have at the top of the case into a intake do you think i would get better temps.

It could, but if front intake air is heated by other components before reaching your pp-setup, then those items may become hotter if a rather straight front-to-back flow is diverted. Perhaps you have the option to add a fan on the side of your case that would blow in the general direction of your radiator?!

No there is no way to add another fan

Then it´s time you venture into modding
You take off the side panel, make a hole that´ll fit a 120 mm fan, and you´re good to go! Make sure you also get a fan filter, I wouldn´t leave that out.

Before modding, I still would try to invert the top fan... just to see if it makes a difference in temps...

Also, if you want max performance on your cooler, it's better to have identical fans on both sides... otherwise you just have to calibrate the rpms very well...

** "Top: 200 mm black fan x 1 (optional ; can be swapped for two 120mm fans)" **

Without knowing the specs on the "stock" top 200mm exhaust fan ...
... I would think that a pair of high quality 120mm fans up top, would certainly outperform the stock 200mm fan.

On the Carbide 500R cases that we use, we junk the stock side mount 200mm fan, for a pair high quality 120mm fans ...
... there's no comparison - the 200mm fan can't begin to keep up with the pair of better quality 120mm fans.

... "heat rises" ... 😉

You believe or not, that doesn't really matter... 🙂 If you have proper airflow on the fans, you can completely invert the the way hot air goes...

In this case, you can set the top fan as intake, just be sure that the rear rad/fan setup can exhaust the air from the top and front fans... actually, the real cool setup would be with the rear rad/fans setup as intake, front intake and top exhaust (if you can change the top 200mm into 2x 120mm, even better)

no need to reverse it, if it push hot air outside, cold air get inside someplace.

Set it up like this and it gets the coldest air in and the hot air out fast.13523

Thank you all for your ideas and help i will be trying some if not all ideas.i did try swapping the top exhaust 200mm into a intake and it made no difference in temps.
