The combination of CPU, memory and NB speeds with the set memory timings is about the limit for this CPU. When pushing the CPU to the edge don't underestimate the importance of the more obscure settings in the UEFI. The highlighted drive strengths, if left on auto, results in Prime failing in less then 5 minutes.

In my screenshots? Software displayed voltage values seldom exactly match what is set in the BIOS/UEFI.

    I have a question, can i install
    Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB, DIMM,1600MHz, DDR3, CL8, XMP,Non-ECC, with Heatsink (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8) or
    Corsair DDR3 4GB(2x2GB) 1600MHz Dominator XMS3 CL9 CMP8GX3M2A1600C9"
on Crosshair V Formula with Noctua NH-D14? These mem are so high...

    WHY?

Why does the voltages differ from what is set in the BIOS on the Crosshair 5 motherboard?
