I would prolly get the GSkill sticks as I have the Vengeance 8GB Blue stick and they are absolutely horrible running at stock speeds even with 1.65 volts. My NB/CPU and CPU clocks are stable but as soon as I get the mem to 1800+ prime starts failing. I even downlclocked the NB/CPU and that didnt help either. I have listed them on Amazon for sale but in the meantime I am messing with drive strengths

    hi guys
    I've got a question.

On the crosshair IV I used k10stat for settings the pstate and I could run my thuban in idle at 800 and 1.2v.
Now i noticed that k10stat doesnt work, maybe because the new 990fx is not supported yet.

I tryied also enabling the cool n quiet but I'm not satisfied becuase it runs cpu in idle at 800 but 1,392 (I've set in bios 1,425, cpu @ 4ghz).
There is another option to reduce the voltages?
I also tried phenommrstweaker but it doesnt work too..

    Thank you

    hi

    i have a asus crosshair V formula motherboard with a 1090t.

i just want to know what does "do not remove the thermal module, the thermal conditions should be monitored." mean? also how do i monitor it? i only have 2 temp readings, cpu and MB

even in the bios it say "do not remove the thermal module, the thermal conditions should be monitored"... i'm guessing it means do not remove motherboard heatsink and should monitor the vrm's or MOSFETs , but how? or does it mean the MB temp reading?

one other question, when i load the bios to defaults it sets the "CPU PWM & CPU PWM phase" to extreme, should i keep it on that or put it on standard & t.probe?

It means, dont remove the Heatsink on the VRM/FETS.
