I was playing BFBC2 when I got the error, your graphics driver has stopped responding but is up again.
Is this bad for my computer at all? This is the first time it happened and I had to shut it off using the power button.
Anyone else has ever gotten this?
I have Nvidia gtx460m
It happens. If you are overclocking, dial it down until it's stable again. If not, you could update your video drivers.
If it's just the graphics driver then no it won't hurt anything. I would check your temps while playing to make sure that they don't skyrocket and maybe do a few benchmarks to stress test but otherwise I wouldn't worry. I've had this message before on a desktop but I don't remember what was causing it. I think I got it when I waked from sleep or screen saver so I just turned it off on that computer and never got the message again.
