Hey all, another Canuck who's managed to find his way here. Glad to see some names here I recognize from my home away from home at Hardware Canucks.

My new RIVE is on the bench, waiting for a mounting kit for my water block. Just thought I'd say "Hi" while I downloaded the latest BIOS.

    Talking Nooby

    Hi everybody!

Newbie here so thought I'd poke a head in and say hi

Had a hell of a lot of 'fun' with my Crosshair V Formula last night whilst assembling my new system which is a big step up from my previous system, and current one is still a work in progress.

My old system was a Thermaltake Xaser III Ltd Armoured in blue, AMD 955BE, an Asus M4A-77T, 8gb of 1600mhz Corsair XMS3 and a Gigabyte GTX-460OC with 3DVision kit

Carried over parts are the GTX 460OC, my Saitek Eclipse II, LG W2363D, Logitech G700, Writemaster DVD burner, and (for now at least) my current HDD's (1x Samsung F1 1TB and 2x Samsung F3 1TB), along with a spare 7200rpm WD 250gb for testing out Win8.

New system is a Lian Li PC75, my new Crosshair V Formula, an FX8150, all carried over parts mentioned above, and half a ton of EK watercooling.

Have the water block and backplate for my soon-to-be-bought GTX590 and will be using my GTX 460OC as a dedicated PhysX card ^_^

Haha awesome! I decided to change cases as the X3 Armoured edition weighs an utter ton, and with a dual loop system and 2 litres of coolant i think I'll die if I ever need to move the damn thing, which I almost do at the moment!!

Only have tacky pics of the old system from an old phone, but here's one or two

    Merry christmas!

And the front, with illuminated logo that a surprising amount of people never find?

    And pic of new build

We have a winner! AX1200 is my PSU of choice Got to love fully modular PSU's for ease of use and tidiness
