Playing around with my 3570K,
Manage to get to 48x with cpu voltage set with auto running 1.344v (LLC) to 1.38v
temp keeping in 80ish with prime95
need some adivce on voltage settings like offset llc so on...
also, any other software for testing stability and stress temp?

At last, after day of testing, i manage to run at 48x with manual 1.3v and LLC set to ultra high...
tried high but my chrome browser keeps crashing when I run it with prime!!
But temp are nice, with H100i it's keeping below 75c with full load.
Also tried 49x but needs a whole 0.1v (1.4v) to get it stable and temp shooing up to 85ish!
not comfortable with it.
Still, any sugesstion on Volatge? I tired to set to offset mode but can't get hold of the trick to play it round

I guess this is final... running in offset + 0.15

With prime my Chrome keeps crashing if i set to +0.14

Temps holding below 75c, any space for improvement?

V3ND3TTA,

Overclocking limits and, stability depends upon individual chips. I have managed to get my 3570k running 4.6GHz @ 1.185V stable! No crashes, no BSODs. I am using H80 as my cooler!

Since you have a H100i, you can afford to push it a bit further. However, for a long run, this seems fine. If you want to lower your temps further, try to lower the voltage by a step of 0.02V and, run prime95 for 6 hours. Keep doing it until you hit the sweet part!

Happy OCing. Hope this helps!

Cheers,
KP

At the end I need to tune to offset to +.165v means running 1.328V at prime load as it keeps crashing after some homrs of prime @+0.15v
I call it prime load because in normal gaming load it only reach 1.288v
I am quite impressed the low voltage with the offest mode but the down side is you need a little bit more than manual mode to get it stable under load. Temps are not increasing even with +.165v, max reach 75c in 12 hours prime Large FFT I guess the H100i is doing it's job well

ugrh... ran into problem(s)
I was running prime 95, I went all well in small FFT, but always have error woth large fft or blend after few hours...
I did memtest and it passed. What could it be? I pass LinX as well

All it means is your system does not pass that test. What were the temps during the test, what voltages did you change in bios.

Lots of information needed before any informed assistance can be offered.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Multi48x
Vcore offset + 0.22
others auto
also tried PLL 1.9v, fail as well
temp peak at 80c (hottest core), holding around 70-78
Rams are Corsair DomPlat 1866, running XMP, 1866 1.5v 9-10-9-27
any other info would be helpful?
