Splendid controls the color management, which should not impact gaming. It's also known to mess up graphic work output, and I get better results running the Win 7 Color Calibrator Wizard. I uninstalled it on my systems.
[SIGPIC]Kicking Ass Since Today[/SIGPIC]

I got this one last night just after midnight as a bad christmas present. My computer restared 3 times, and upon completion was sitting at 800x600. I was able to put it up to 1280x800, but couldn't get my 1600x900 back. I saw this as a new application on my desktop, but couldn't find it in the programs and was too tired to figure it out further. This morning after getting up I looked it up and saw this post, so I decided to check again, when I found it as Asus Splendid Utility in the programs and features. Upon uninstalling, it restarted my cpu, when done I had 1600x900 automatically back.

If anyone notices anything wrong with thier cpu after this is installed, I highly recommend getting rid of it. This is the first and only thing I know of that Asus has done wrong.
