Hello everyone.

I have been trying now for a while to hit 4.5ghz on my rig without overvolting too much with no succuess, I'm currently stable @ 4.2ghz and that is with 1.3875 on Vcore.

I have attached an image of my voltages:- http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/715/97239253.jpg/

Can someone please help me get my 4.5ghz?

Much thanks,

Processor: i7 980x
Motherboard: Asus Rampage 3 Extreme - 1502 Bios
Ram 12GB Kingston HyperX - running at default 1333Mhz
PSU Corsair 1000 watts PSU
Cooling Corsair H50 CPU cooler
Graphics GTX 580 SLI
Sound Creative Titanium HD
HD 120GB Crucial M4 / 1TB WD

- Thanks for the welcome. 🙂

I've already tried a low multiplier and high bclk and vise vera with no avail, does that mean I have hit the wall on this chip at 4.2ghz with 1.3875Vcore? :[

It wouldn't boot at all with those settings. Should I keep my QPI/Dram at Auto(1.3v)?

Try the following and see if you're stable:
CPU Multiplier to 22
BCLK Frequency to 200
CPU Voltage to 1.395v
CPU PLL Voltage to 1.9v

Since you're moving the BCLK around, make sure to change your DRAM Frequency closer to your advertised RAM speed.

I'll give these settings and I'll let you know.

Make sure you did it in the bios not the TurboV?
IMO +v is the only option

I've done the changes in Bios, not the program. What's +v?
