If you want to play it safe, between 1.35v-1.4v. If you want to push it a little, you can go as high as 1.45v.

1.45 won't get me anywhere above 4.6 OC or so though, and the goal is to go higher. I've read a few places that say under water ~1.55v+ is alright, but wanted to make sure if that's reasonable.

Really??? I can get to 4.6 on air with less than 1.4V. If you need more than 1.45V to get to 4.6, then you might very will have a chip on the lower end of the scale, so I wouldn't push it too hard.

My 4500 was stable at a max 1.456 under full load. Sadly that's the best I got. Runni g tests now its looking like I'm in the 1.48 to 1.49 range for a 4.8 oc. Temps never over 80c tho. Thoughts?

I see in CPUz during test it drop to 3200 briefly then go back up my temps are perfectly fine. Spots out 160 on trolls then drops to 151 a few times. Is that bad? Never seen it do that before

Sounds like VRM downclocking. Not surprising considering your Vcore.

(EVGA site: ) And I have a second (wife's) computer, Eve.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.
