bios update?

so i got new formula v and went to bios to update and it says the bios i have saved are not eufi?, i got them from the support page and unzipped them?

what bios version do you get, and how do you update your bios?

804 is on it and i do it through bios as i have all other asus boards the tool in bios says they r not ufi bios and in folder wjere saved when i unzip them they all say cap at end

try to download it again it maybe corrupted or use EZ Mode (correct me if i'm wrong) in bios to update there is an option there to download the bios .

i did try to redownload, same thing this is not a efi file it says, kinda lost here

try the USB Bios Flashback., i'm using M5G but i think you have also this options

didnt see an option for it to download it under ez flash, it ask where to look and i go there and all bios files are there that i downloaded and unzipped but wont read any of them says not efi files

and you have also to download Bios Rename under Bios Utilities when using USB Bios Flashback

yea i dunno whats wrong its brand new build works great just wanted latest bios, and flat wont install it says not a efi file and its right off the websight
