Asus Mars 3 not getting released

Hey all

I read that the Mars 3 wont be released to the public, and it was simply an engineering excersize.

Anyone know anything? I am assuming that what i read is just a rumor. I hope so cuz i was looking forward to that beast!

MarshallR himself said it won't be getting released, for a reason he wasn't able to elaborate on...but i'm gonna go ahead and say it's probably got something to do with Nvidia stating that nobody could make cards better than the 690...bear in mind this is only an assumption based on my part, whether it is the reason or not, we probably won't know 😞

NVidia will be beating the 690 this month when the GeForce Titan arrives in a few weeks so that is a moot point, now a MARS III Titan = ARESII pwning Epicness

Yeah, well of course it'd be a moot point, it's their own damn card lol 😛 but the fact remains, Mars III isn't being released.

Nvidia still stubborn as ever, I'll stick with Radeons for now...
