    Audio Popping

Lots of audio popping. I use the optical digital out to Logitech Z-680. I might try COAX. If I can figure out what adapter I need for COAX.

Sometimes they don't pop but I can't figure out what it is. I thought it was my xbox 360 wireless adapter but I moved that away and unplugged it. I thought it was my HP ex490 but it's not that either. I can't narrow down what's doing it. I also bought a Razer Nostromo. I can't imagine how that would cause audio popping.

I really thought this expensive board with all these isolated components and whatnot would not have this problem

Sorry for your question not being answered.

To work out what is the issue we will need to start at the very beginning.

Is there popping and hissing with no sound drivers installed and a speaker plugged into your mainboard?
