    ASUS AI suite not working in crosshaor V formula :(

    hi guys...
    just got my new toy...wanted to install ASUS AI suite...so downloaded that too from the product utilities page since the one in the bundled DVD was not working(nothing happens when i click it)
    now the new one is also not working...throws me an error

    so...what now?
    someone please help me

    Okay, you need to make sure that Windows is fully registered and has chipset drivers installed. If you have all those sorted then try this version here:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1FKOGL69

    If it does not work, you may need to resinstall Windows, and all drivers before trying again.

    Also make sure you are on the latest EFI release.

    You mean activated? if yes then yes its activated.
    also how to make sure i have the latest EFI release?
    please help coz am still tryin to get a grip on this board.

    Check the CPU-Z mainboard tab for the BIOS version an then comapre that to what is on the ASUS download page for the board. Latest public release is 0506 I believe and latest beta is 0038.

    the version you provided worked
    but am facing some other problems
    got an golden stick of value select DDR3 rams...wanted to run them on this board but it wont boot
    even the memok is not working
    HELP!
    heres the specs of the ram
    Corsair value select Ram
    1333MHz
    9-9-9-24
    1.65V

    You will probably have to set some of the timings manually. Use one module only and see if you can get into BIOS.

    well...they worked too...had too increase the volts manually
    now its time to sell the vengeance(the worst set of rams i have ever seen)
