    P8Z68-V Pro Bios Downgrade

I was on the shipping bios 0501 for the P8Z68-V Pro, and I figured I would try the new beta bios 0651. Well the new bios isn't as good, and perhaps that's why it's considered beta and not a stable bios. The problem is, I can't reflash to the shipping bios.

There are many things wrong with this. 1- Bupdater provides the ability to backup the bios, but what's the point if you can't flash it? 2- Considering the bios is beta, why wouldn't it let you flash to any stable bios? 3- The end user should be able to flash whatever bios they want, whenever they want. 4- Bupdater has no switches to force a flash, which is a major flaw.

I want a utility that can flash the bios back to 0501. How Asus can sell products with such major flaws is beyond my comprehension. So what I am supposed to do?

Why don't you ask your engineers since they were the ones who deemed it beta and not stable? Honestly there has never been a board I couldn't downgrade the bios on if I felt like it. So why don't you show me a way to downgrade it like I asked instead of sideskirting this major issue.

You can very easily. Buy a programmer and you can flash anything you want.

No fix can be issued if you cannot pinpoint what your problems are. 0651 contains an important microcode update. Seeing as you have no problem with the BIOS itself and have been told how to get around it above this issue is now closed.
