    Project: Corsair Graphite 600T MbK

Hello my name is Richard aka Kier
I'm an enthusiastic modder from the Netherlands
This is my first post overhere, and hope you like my skills
more of my builds you can find at http://www.madebykier.com

    Sponsored by:

To much time and a little addicted………………… this gives me the opportunity to start another build
This time the great Corsair Graphite 600T. Love this case, nice shape and good quality
    The hardware i’m gonna use:

    Case: Corsair Graphite 600T
    Motherboard: Asrock Z68 extreme 4
    CPU: i5 2500K
    GPU: Asus GTX 580
PSU: Coolermaster Silent pro M 1000W

And more………………this will been shown in the progress
    Offcourse there wil be watercooling

The case is given by IT-Service

    Corsair Grapithe 600T

    Out of the box

Ofcourse right away disassembling the Corsair

    Taken off the front

There is a plastic rim on the front which also came off, maybe i'm gonna do something with it

    Back is removable also

    And the top

    Nice panel

And the case without the plastic

Oww almost forgot, the hdd racks are easily removable

    Almost nothing left

First modification. For this i've used 3M Di-Noc CARBON FIBER FILM

    3M Di-Noc CARBON FIBER FILM

First done the control panel and the narrow strips on the sides

After that did one sidepanel with the carbon film

For now this was the start, more to come when I have some more hardware

    Grtz.

    Hi, my modding friends
Did some nice things to the 600T
For this I have 2 Black Ice GT Stealth 240 rads

And Coolermaster has given me 4 very good fans. The Turbine Master Mach 0.8

I'm going to place 2 of these on top of the 600T

Need to take of the cap for the mesh panel otherwise it don't fit

Beneed the Turbine masters I am gonna place 1 black ice rad

The other two turbine nasters are coming in the front

Going to place the second rad inside

It dont fit, so have to cut a piece out of the bay

Back to the top again. I think it's not finished..............so it's acryl time
For this IT-service has send me a beautiful piece of 5mm UV blue acryl

    Marked for cutting

    And cut it

    Cut the little pieces out

    Still need to file this

    And it fits

    Mesh cover placed

    Next step, marked the fans

Did the cutting with my hightech fretsaw

Without the tape. Hmm looks like .....................

    And placed the Turbine masters

The idea is to past black film over the acryl with blue lines visible

Last week a received a very nice package from IT-Service

    Thanks Eddy's
First the great motherboard: The ASRock Z68 Extreme4

Two kits Corsair 4 GB DDR3-1600 Kit

    and the beautiful Intel® Core™ i5-2500K

    The big ASUS ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5

And a nice Sony Optiarc AD-5260S-0B

I'm not only showing you good products but have also done some work
The front. I want to give the same looks as the top, with acryl and 2 CM fans.
    The plastic front

Here I have cut away the middle bar

Sawn a piece of 5mm blue acryl

And again the same as the top..........sawn the two fans

Made the slot for the dvd

    Removed the tape

But we're not there yet, transparent is not what I want. That's why I have used black film to make small borders, later on with light

    Paste tape again

Now I have cut out a 5mm line

    Removed all the tape

Between the DVD and the fan is coming a bay reservoir with the blue acrylic as res window

    Update !!!

Did my first cutting in the 600T this week
The 2 fans in the front

And the slot for the in/ outlet radiator

    Also drawn the top fans

    And after some dremel power

Also past black film on the top acryl

And slide out the same lines as the front panel

    Put everything together

    The fans in the front

And the outlet from the rad with just enough space to put the fittings in

The 600T how it's gonna be

    Bay res update !!!

Today I've received my BP reservoir. Nice and small

Removed the acryl window from the reservoir and marked the holes for the M4 bolds

    Perfect fit

Cut the lines out of the black film. Same shape as the internal from the res

    And placed it

I've did some modding for the midplate. bend two angels in a mesh panel.

For the side of the midplate I've sawn a piece of 5mm transparant acryl

And another piece 5mm blue acryl

Just two pics of the big big Asus

Back to the transaprant acryl, past black film on it

    Cut out the outline

And past 3m Carbon on the smaller plate

    And put the both together

Cut also the outline from the smaller blue acryl

Also sawn and bend a piece of aluminium for the side from the radiator

    Placed like this

And the last thing I did is a piece of aluminium for the drive bay side

    All together

    That's it............see you soon
