Yes I have upgraded my Wireless card with Intel 7260 AC this friday.
but S**T happened and now I gotta buy new In-ears instead of the new ASUS RT-AC56U which sadly costs the same x)
So I won't be testing out the new AC wireless until Christmas or some crap since I gotta buy Battlefield 4 too...
back to topic
yeah the 1202 sounds like a winner since it has awesome reviews and speeds and the advertised prioritising for games.
I would recommend the 1202
or 1102 if you don't need the bluetooth
if you are not in a hurry to buy the latest AC cards.
but I personally recommend the Intel 7260 AC since it has better signal than the stock Wi-fi card. it might have some Driver issues at the start but it is basically brand new after all. so hopefully Intel won't botch the drivers again as they did for the 6235 cards on some users, but it worked fine for me, when I had it (put it in my parents ancient laptop).
the laptops wifi stops internet connection sporadically. I don't know if it's the new 7260 that does it or if it's the latest update on my Airport Express (wifi router). but I suspect that it's the new firmware for the Airport Express. but it could as well be driver issues on the laptop. (lost game connections sucks, especially with good in game scores in BF3)
p.s
for your other post on downgrading to windows 7..
just stick with Windows 8, and get start8. then it's like windows 7.
unless you need Windows 7 for some programs and such.
