Windows 8.1 64Bit Phoebus when set to 5.1 only the Front Speakers are playing.

I installed the latest driver for Phoebus on Win 8.1 64bit.
Plugged in my 5.1 Speaker. When I started listening to music or playing Movies the sound came only from the Front Speakers.
Center and Rears are Muted.

If I turn on Dolby Home Theater I have sound on all speakers.
Music in general doesn't sound very good it sounds worse than on a ASUS Xonar D2X with this feature turned on.

I noticed when using this card on Windows 7 64bit that "Surround Max" option was missing in the Windows 8.1 driver Interface.

I attached two screenshots. from win 7 and 8

Is there currently any workaround for Windows 8.1? The Surround Max Setting IS not available on Windows 8.1.
