It is part of the AI SUITE III , I checked the install folders for the file you mentioned, but can't find it there.. I am checking my ssd if its there..

edit:
I found it .. hidden in the AI SUITE II install folder, I am not sure if that version works on your system. I mail you the program!

You would need a piece of software to edit or reverse engineer the EXE file something like PE Explorer works well..

I had an error recently which might be related. I got a new build computer. I installed Asus suite 3 and got a "fancontroller" type error, which prevented the software from running. I corrected this by following advice on another thread here.
1. Download Asus suite cleaner (sorry no link)
2. Uninstall old version of Asus suite 3
3. Run asus suite cleaner
4. Install latest bios
5. Install latest version of Asus suite 3.

The problem I believe was have 2 out-of-date asus items, being the bios and the asus suite versions.

Andy,, thanks but its fixed now

For others out there, here are some issues that are related to the asusfancontrl.

1. system delay on windows shutdown ( up to 1 min)
2. After boot into windows, the Lan connection gets delayed (up to 1 min)
