do you get any errors at all mate? have you checked Windows Event Viewer?

Just tried to run it again to see if the system generated an error log. Event Viewer shows Nothing.

Hmmm try uninstalling your VGA drivers, rebooting and reinstalling them. If that fails copy this into the explorer bar %systemroot%\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore delete anything that may be in there and have another crack at it.

Myk, I cleared the data store and that fixed it. Now when It runs, it goes through all phases but locks up the system at the end of the CPU assessment phase. Iv'e tried it three times same thing.

Guess this means your 9590 is just too awesome for Windows 7 😉 this might also point to signs of instability with your OC.

Well I run Prime9* for 1hr after tuning and that was ok so yea, I had heard on another forum someone else having a similar problem.
Anyhow its no biggy. I trust other software benchmarks more than Microsoft to establish my performance. And i'm happy with it at the moment.
If you want to see some results I can post them.

No worries mate, only reason i'd suggest running WEI on Win7 is to force Windows to realize you have an SSD installed, and Windows usually does the right thing and stops defragging, sets up TRIM.
