Bios update 1505 Maximus Formula VI breaks speed info in Windows 8 task manager

I noticed that the memory speed in Windows 8.1 x64 task manager read as 1333 after updating the BIOS to 1505 on my Formula VI. I remembered to update the BIOS memory settings with the XMP profile, after which the BIOS and AI Suite reflected the correct speed, which is 1866. I downgraded the BIOS back to 0614 (yea, it's old), and now task manager is correct. Any idea why 1505 breaks this?

It was broke a few builds ago for me on a Max VI Extreme.

Others have reported it and a staff member said they would look into it but that was last I heard and its same on DC new Bios.

It must be reading JEDEC not XPM.

I have 1505 on my Maximum Formula XI and it works fine on my board. My windows 8.1 Task manager is displaying 2133Mhz.

I am using XMP profile in bios.

Maximum Formula XI ?

Was this issue ever resolved? I noticed there is a newer BIOS update for the Forumula VI, and was hoping the issue had been resolved.
